How One L.A. Couple Created Their House on Wheels and Moved to Colorado!

Trying out an adventure would be a good way to mark a departure from routine life. Will and Alyssa, a couple living in Los Angeles and working in Silicon Valley, set out to change their life using an old school bus. While both were part of the booming tech industry that has absorbed so many young professionals, they wanted more from life. Their mission was to spend time with nature, become their own bosses and work from any location. To achieve this mission, they decided to convert a 37’ school bus into a house on wheels.

Let work begin
Every great adventure must start with the first step. Will and Alyssa began work on the bus by grinding off the interior rivets as well as removing the paneling and insulation. Grinding was not an easy job and one has to use a safety mask when using the grinder. While Will did the grinding Alyssa removed the paneling. Removing the rivets on the walls required two grinders so as to reduce the time spent on the job.
